Sports Coaching Review is an international peer-reviewed medium for the publication of articles related to sports coaching. It aspires to become a major focal point for the publication of sports coaching research throughout the world. The journal is be mono, multi and interdisciplinary in approach. It also welcomes work from both qualitative and quantitative paradigms, in addition to discussions of conceptual and methodological issues related to sports coaching research, accounts of research in progress and book reviews. In particular, the journal encourages the submission of data-based and advocacy papers on the various aspects of sports coaching, including coach and athlete learning in both formal and informal settings, coach education, the constructed coaching context more generally, and the interdependence of these dimensions. The journal reviews articles using a variety of research methods and representational formats. Submitted manuscripts must be informed by a theoretical perspective whilst written in such a way as to be accessible to the broad community of sports coaching scholars.
